4/2/2016 · I finally received a response via e-mail from Walther, the PPK/S .22LR has been discontinued, thus confirming my suspicion following the pistol’s removal from carl-walther.de. Yes, I’m aware of what day it is, (I even considered withholding this info until tomorrow) but we’re all adults here and the writing was already on the wall, so this shouldn’t be all that far-fetched.
7/26/2020 · As the ban on importation of the Walther PPK continued, Walther licensed Smith & Wesson to produce the PPK, but that eventually ended. In time, Walther built a manufacturing facility in Arkansas and is now producing a genuine Walther PPK that can be sold in the US giving purists and everyone else access to a new Walther produced PPK.

1/16/2020 · Walther ‘ s current PPK/S in .22 LR is a lot different than previous rimfire iterations of the pistol, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
5/19/2020 · To disassemble the PPK/S, you unload, and then lever down the trigger guard. Hold it in place while you work the slide. One of the big changes on the USA-made PPK/S is the tang. The Walther, in all of its iterations, has a tendency to bite the hand that feeds it. Or rather, run parallel tracks on the web of your hand.
9/30/2016 · Re: Walther PPK – No new production. PPK is heavy and bulky compared to similar firepower. I would get a 238 if you want a metal .380. I had an interarms PPK that liked to bite my hand and a newer S &W that was better but still just too heavy and big for 7 rounds of .380.
